Hemingway Month

This July we are dedicating to Ernest Hemingway who is one of the most important writers as well as iconic character of the 20th century. July being a rather fitting month to celebrate the life and works of Hemingway being as he was both born and killed himself during the month.

As part of our TGBC Hemingway month we shall be reading For Whom the Bell Tolls. Which is possibly one of his best novels because he works in the themes he is most suited; camaraderie, inevitability, and suicide.

So this July whenever you get a chance, raise a glass to the guy who was not only an icon of masculinity and but also a victim of it.
